Professional Summary

Kay Seo is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac) in British Columbia, registered with the CCHPBC, having completed his acupuncture training at Central College. He is currently advancing his clinical knowledge through ongoing studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCMP).

Kay has a primary clinical focus on lumbar and lower back pain, specializing in soft tissue rehabilitation and spine-related discomfort. Beyond back care, his practice extends to managing joint pain, shoulder tension, knee discomfort, and internal health issues such as digestive discomfort, bloating, and IBS.

For Kay Seo, his journey into Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine began with a personal experience. After more than a decade working long hours at a desk in accounting, he developed chronic pain in his lower back, neck, and shoulders. At one point, his back pain became so severe that he could barely walk five steps, and for over a year, he struggled to sleep through the night. Discovering Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture brought him much-needed relief and ultimately inspired him to change careers.

Kay believes the body has its own ability to restore balance and heal. Through acupuncture, Tui Na & acupressure massage, and cupping, he supports patients in managing pain, recovering from injuries, and improving movement. His approach also considers overall well-being, supporting concerns related to stress, sleep, digestion, fatigue, headaches, and woman’s health.

Kay continues to deepen his clinical knowledge through ongoing advanced studies in Traditional Herbal Medicine and Manual Osteopathy, allowing him to provide more well-rounded care. His goal is simple: to help you move better, feel better, and return to feeling like yourself again.

What Kay's Patients Are Saying

Daniel R.
I came to Kay with chronic lower back pain that had been limiting me for over a year. After just four sessions, I noticed a significant reduction in pain and stiffness. His knowledge of the lumbar spine and the way he combines electroacupuncture with cupping is unlike anything I had tried before. I finally feel like I have my mobility back.

After my car accident I was dealing with whiplash and a lot of tension through my neck and shoulders. Kay was thorough in his assessment and made me feel completely at ease from the first visit. His ICBC process was seamless — no paperwork stress on my end. I noticed real improvement within the first two sessions. Highly recommend him for anyone recovering from an accident.

I started seeing Kay for stress-related tension headaches and sleep issues. I was skeptical at first but the results spoke for themselves. He took the time to really understand what was going on and created a treatment plan that addressed both the physical and systemic side of things. I sleep better, feel calmer, and the headaches are nearly gone. Genuinely impressed.
